Three teams of brilliant minds were put to the test at Escape Room, Berjaya Times Square last Friday, 28th March 2014. After 45 minutes of head scratching and brain cracking, all of our Churpers managed to escape their rooms in one piece! Good job to everyone and congratulations to those who won! =D
If you missed out on the most thrilling night ever, here’s what went down:
The enthusiastic participants gathered at the foyer of Escape Room to register themselves where they were split into three teams.
Each team were formed randomly that night in hopes of rekindling new friendship, and to keep the escape challenging! Luck was also tested that night when each group were randomly put into rooms of different levels of difficulty. (Psst, we heard that ‘Taken – The Perfect Abduction’ room is one of the hardest but most fun one yet!)
While waiting for the fun to begin, our Churpers headed over to the awesome backdrop/photo corner where they could get their pictures taken, VIP style before the escape!
At 9.00PM, Churpers were briefed before the mysterious adventure began. 1 Room. 8 players. Can you escape within 45 minutes? Ready, set, GO!
After 45 minutes of working their way through clues, live puzzles and pitch darkness, the exhilarating fun came to an end. Team Vampire won the race under 34 minutes, followed by Team Taken and Team Gallery.
Victory! Team Vampire won without using any hints.
Team Taken at 2nd place, they had the hardest room among the rest so kudos for escaping within 45 minutes!
Team Gallery ran out of time but had heaps of fun, no doubt!
Our Churpers didn’t go back empty handed but with amazing vouchers from Escape Room, Berjaya Times Square and the winning team took home our exclusive, limited edition ChurpChurp pendrive!
Before we end, we would like to thank Escape Room, Berjaya Times Square for the awesome venue and brain teasing games. And of course, a big thanks to our Churpers who made the adventure so much fun!
